Lynx is the line WWW browser available on many UNIX machines on the Internet. Lynx allows shell users to browse the Web, although without graphics. Lynx can handle most fill-in forms and will display "[image]" where graphics are located in the document.
If you have a shell UNIX account and if Lynx is configured on your ISP's system, you can start Lynx by entering "lynx" at the prompt. From there, you can use the arrow keys to navigate. The Up/Down arrows move the cursor from link to link. The Right arrow follows a link, and the Left arrow steps to the previous page. The Spacebar jumps down one screen length on the current document. Use "Q" to exit Lynx.
